We have tried to answer the most common questions.

Orders, Shipping & Preorders

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and PayPal.

We offer buy-now, pay-later options like Shop Pay Installments and Afterpay.

We currently ship only to the U.S. If you live elsewhere, stay tuned for future updates on international availability.

Once you enter your shipping address, you’ll see the exact cost before placing your order. We charge standard carrier rates with no extra markup.

Contact us immediately if your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged. We’ll investigate with the carrier and either locate your shipment or send a replacement. Please provide your order info (and photos, if damaged) so we can resolve the issue quickly.

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, contact us to update the shipping address or cancel your order. If it’s already en route, we can help you initiate a return once it arrives.

No. DueTT products are only available at duettechnology.com. Resellers on Amazon are NOT authorized dealers. Products from resellers may be used, damaged, or counterfeit.

It’s very easy—simply snap on your preferred attachment, power on, and you’re ready to cut. We include quick-start instructions, plus video guides online.

Performance & Use

Let's dive into the performance of our clipper and how to use them.

Yes. Both Switch 1.0 and Surge work on all hair types — tight curls, coarse hair, waves, or straight textures. Smooth, consistent performance across the board.

Surge uses our patent-pending Active Air Cooling system with ThermalGuard technology. Sensors check the temperature 1,000 times per second and automatically activate the cooling fan when needed. That means no overheating — even after 240+ hours of use. No burns to clients or your hands. No switching tools mid-cut because your clipper got too hot. The LED indicator shows temperature status: Blue (cool) to Cyan to Yellow to Red (hot).

A built-in AI-powered motor and heat sensor regulate internal temperatures in real time. The system stays cool without slowing you down. Cooling is fully automatic — it operates during use and idles between clients.

Yes. You can run fully cordless for mobility, plug in mid-cut without stopping (no battery anxiety), or stay plugged in for all-day power at your station. Surge is the only clipper system that gives you this flexibility.

Surge delivers 3 hours of runtime on a full charge with 60-minute rapid charging. The brushless motor maintains consistent power from 100% all the way down to 1% battery — no slowdown as the battery drains.

SurgeIQ is the built-in smart system that auto-detects which attachment you've connected and adjusts accordingly. It also includes auto-sleep and auto-wake — Surge powers down when you set it down and wakes up when you pick it back up.

Maintenance & Blades

Here's how to maintain your clipper properly.

Brush off hair and debris after each cut, oil the blades regularly, and store your tools in a clean, dry space. Avoid submerging the clipper in water. If needed, use a disinfectant spray or wipe (compatible with clippers) between clients.

Before every session. If you’re cutting nonstop, re-oil the blades every few clients to keep them running smoothly.

With proper care, ceramic blades can last much longer than typical steel ones—often months rather than weeks. When they finally dull, we offer replacement blades in our store.

Yes. Simply pop off the old blade and click on the new one—it’s a quick, tool-free process.

No. The Switch 1.0 uses a proprietary blade and guard system specifically calibrated for our motor and cooling technology. Third-party parts can compromise performance and will void your warranty.

Warranty, Returns & Support

Yes. Every Switch 1.0 is backed by a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. Keep your proof of purchase or order number on hand if you ever need service.

Contact our support team with details (and photos if possible). If it’s a covered issue, we’ll repair or replace the defective part free of charge. We want to get you back to cutting as quickly as possible.

We offer replacement parts—like blades and attachments—for normal wear and tear. Though we don’t currently provide a formal out-of-warranty repair service, most components are modular and can be easily swapped. Our support team will guide you through the best fix or recommend your options.

We have a 15-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re unhappy for any reason, return your product in like-new condition (with all original parts and packaging). Once we’ve inspected it, we’ll process your refund quickly, typically within 7 business days.

No. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser. If you received it as a gift, you’ll need the original order info or proof of purchase to file a claim.

Surge is rated for 120V 60Hz only (standard in US and Canada). Using it abroad could damage the device or cause harm.
